Jakaan Architects was engaged to rework a previously DA-approved design to better align with the client's vision. Using 3D visualisation, we collaborated with the client to refine the architecture while maintaining the approved floor plan.
The home is defined by its striking material palette and bold geometric forms. A combination of timber, brick, and corten steel creates a dynamic façade, offering both warmth and durability. The carefully designed entry sequence leads through a glazed hallway, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces while maximising natural light.
Internally, an expansive double-height living area serves as the heart of the home, opening seamlessly to an outdoor entertaining space with a pool and custom landscaping. A floating timber staircase framed by a lush indoor garden enhances the connection between levels, bringing nature into the core of the house. The kitchen, crafted with rich timber finishes and sleek modern fixtures, is both a functional and aesthetic centrepiece.
Every detail was meticulously documented, from the amended DA to construction drawings, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to completion. This project exemplifies Jakaan Architects' ability to refine and elevate existing designs while delivering a bespoke, high-quality home tailored to the client’s lifestyle.
