RIVERSTONE HINDU TEMPLE
Location Riverstone, NSW
Under Construction
Jakaan Architects was recommended for this project based on our expertise in temple design. We were engaged to transform an existing warehouse unit into a Hindu temple, incorporating a carefully planned auditorium, monks' offices, and new toilet facilities while also redesigning the exterior façade to reflect the spiritual and cultural significance of the space.
One of the key challenges of this project was parking constraints due to the limited site space. Through strategic planning and innovative design solutions, we successfully secured development approval, ensuring the project met both functional and regulatory requirements.
Currently under construction, this project highlights our ability to adapt existing structures for religious use, overcoming spatial limitations while delivering a design that serves the needs of the community.
